i dont really know much of finance companies in the placements had a lots of banks and insurance companies coming i had given a list in an earlier post to the AMC question in this same thread there wasan investment banking house called batliwala or something like that it is the only full indian investment banking house as far as i know this year i think in the banks some additions can be there because deutche (spare me for the spelling) bank and its likes have come into the retail banking setup in india now so for finance it is

Mostly retail banking
then insurance companies
some get into as business analyst
still lesser into inv banking etc and more details just ask me specifically about the company name i will be glad to revert back sorry for my lack of knpowledge on this part but will get you the exact details soon

hey chowksi seems you missed what fr christie had told us guys in the last meeting that since we people are paying for the internet facility in college we need not pay extra for net in the hostel

more over he had specified that no wi fi thing will be in hostel. In hostel it will be lan connection only he had given an example that in XLRI hostel the WIFI thing didnt work out and so he is gonna give the lan connection to each room.

and mayank the total expense will be 1325 + food bill of 1000(the maximum that i got last entire year in the non veg mess) to 2325 if you decide to have food oin the mess else the expense will shoot up to 1325 + around 2000 for good tasty and hygenic food.

the food that 25 rs packet in the hostel delivered that thing sucks big time i would say that have food that tastes bad rather than food that is unhealthy the packet i got chapattis what were not cooked properly and i visited that place once that place once if you see i doubt you will ever order food from there

hey there,so much interested in salaries hmm.... the highest was 7.6 p.a. the least was 4 p.a. and the average hovers around 5.6-6 p.a. enuf or do u need more info?

by the way my knowledge of salaries
highest 7.6 CitiBank
next 7.5 Indian Oil Corporation
then infosys with 6.6
CTS with 6.5
then TCS , HDFC , IDBI around 6
and then a long list cannot recall all of them now the range is from 7.6 to 3 or 4 but the salaries are pretty decent nothing to be worried about in liba

and nbe dammn sure i am missing out some really great companies and great packages too

Dear Student,

Hope you received our previous E-mail regarding LIBA hostel fees
structure.

We would like to bring to your notice the following:

„« Students who have enrolled themselves for preliminary classes are
expected to join the hostel on 6th June 2006 or on 7th June 2006
morning.
The preliminary class starts at 9 A.M.
„« Students who did not enroll themselves for the preliminary classes
are
expected to join the hostel on 21st June 2006. Since the regular
classes
commence from 22nd morning.
„« The food will be provided only from 14th June 2006. From 7th ¡V 13th
June
you have to manage for your food.
