hey annie lots of IT companies do come for final placements they are
Infosys
they took 6 people this year
and thier package after couple of revisions was 6.5 L
TCS
Only one person
dont remember thier package
but very rigorous basic qualifications they are asking so many were not eligible
HCL
dont pay nuch but is first indian IT company which had thought big have around 17 or 18 offices in chennai and thier brand name is pretty good for further better future
SIFY
something just more than 5 i guess was thier package indias best ISP provided and first indian site to have contents for broad band usage is thiers and ahve a stroing tie up with many events great place to work in had been there for my summers interview so telling you great place to work
Satyam
package is around 4 only for the first year after teh first year at work the salary nearly doubles this is because the extensive training they do for the recruits and the training and pshycometric tests that are very costly to administer
US Technologies
Great Place again to work great and beautiful office
pays around 5.5 L and many perks and placement in trivandrum this is the best job for people who are from kerela and want to settle in kerela
Cognisant (CTS)
great MNC package around 6.5 or something more in case you have work experience

I do not gurantee that i have posted the entire list but i think these are the prominent who come to campus for final placements

Don't know y i didn't get the letter frm liba hostel director .... i had talked to Fr Maria sometime back .... he said d same thing .... said dat they r talkin to the dean and finalising the fees .... he said dat he's tryin to work a gud price ... i hope the gud price doesn't mean a steep price .....

Its so funny..we dont have a clue of wats happening @hostel fees..& the jrs. know about it..

shudnt be more than 3000 with food in any case...

n r there ny summer placements with banks/AMCs etc.... or do v have to arrange that ourselves?

Ya Einsten you did it for IT companies now its ur turn to do it for financial institutions like banks, AMCs, etc....Please include this yea's internships also with final placements. Thanks in advance

Agam nahi batayega to aur kaun batayega tereko?

Something arnd 2500 for hostel shud be ideal...but max can be 3000 coz wi-fi/net connection de rahe haina..which was not there till now
