It seems that I am the only PaGalGuy from kolkata ..... Till now there are none from kolkata neither in Orkut nor in PG ....... If this thread reamains as silent as it is now then I warn you ... I will join the BM thread ..... I guess you guys dont want such a nice guy like me to go away ..... So please start responding ..... Hey Prateek whats up man ?? okay i'm the wait - listed one who's hoping again & again to convert . wait - list 7 ... by previous trends , i can safely hope to be there . so here i go ... i'm from Delhi ... a fresher ... maths (h) student of Jesus & Mary College , Delhi University ... i'm not going to keep quiet ... you guys'll just've to tolerate this chatterbox ... but then i'm moody too ... so you may get some respite
mumbaikars , the next time i come to mumbai after we've been in XL together , you guys're going to take me out to all the happening discs & to Haji Ali (wow ! what contrast ! )
bangaloreans , your city's beautiful but i went there long back . so 1 trip fixed there

I have heard that in XL it is a tradition to go and have a nice dinner at any of your Prof's house whenever you feel like... You just tell him so in advance and go in sensible numbers! That does not happen in IIMs. So something to look forward to, eh?

Great to see the PMIR batch of 2006-07 joining hands at an early stage. Being from jamshedpur I can tell you that you are surely going to enjoy the place the next two years( and maybe beyond).The best part of Jamshedpur is its cosmopolitan outlook and lush greenry.. Lemme not divulge much now.. will leave it to you to explore! Congratulations once more! P.S: Plz do not mistake me for a student/prospective student of XLRI jsr. ..

hey asim ! you know - pune reminds me of my Grandmother . she'd cancer & we went to pune for her treatment but that's like more than 10 years back . she expired in 1991 . anyway , i'd not noticed pune ... but ya i've loads of friends in pune doing engineering & stuff + my niece's going to SIMS ... so i'll simply've to request ( / rather force ) you to accompany me to visit her . heh heh ! also i've heard pune's a very happening place ...
