151 in written for KJ? My! Have got a meagre 133. Oh come on is it really gonna go that high? And if it is then I better start getting serious about my Infy interview.

Cut-off's suggested here ARE WAY TOO HIGH...Infact to suggest that they are "Exagerrated" wld still b an understatement...

N for once I m not scared of having to eat my words coz I m dead sure that these cut-off's r JUST NOT ON...!!

Relax mate! I agree that the cutoffs r way TOO HIGH.
Only cutoff that i can 'speculate' is that for JB:

Mum : 172-175 out of 240
Maharashtra : 168-172 out of 240

This can be taken as a benchmark for other colleges.

Re: expected cutoffs for cet colleges - 23-03-2006, 07:41 PM

well well well ,

seeing a lot of posts stating that the cut offs are way too high well i can only say that it is not only moderate but even 2 marks less than what we actually can predict , for the simple logic and my experince of previous year , and yes 151 is in written for kj somaiya not outta 240 ,
see this thing will happen and its no point consoling ourselves that the cut offs will be less it cant happen and will never happen the cut offs predicted by me will be true and am damn sure about , already had chat with so many jb , sydenham guys and all agree on this cut off as well as some profs , i cant help thinking anything less than this ,

sirst reason is that marks are on a very high side this time ,
now so many guys in the OMS category have applied with MAT, CAT , XAT . ATM , JMET , scores , know many with 99.99 and 99.98 who are applying , i know 3 outside this forum who will give 99.99 in MAT , there are so many others who are in the pipeline and also MAY MAT is coming so lots of percentile above 99.95 , now see a 99.95 that is on the lower side concverts to 151 written add another 34 it gives 185 , and thats very high but im keeping at the loer cut off levels and so the cut offs will stay at 185 for jbims , considering sydenham always is 2 marks less than jb im keeping it at 183 , but in kj and wellingkar as the seats are alaos more and the cut offs a;lso go down because of the waitlists( as people not getting jb or sydenham levae cet) , now i cant be wrong in these assumpetions as i have gone thru it ,
and one thing more from next year jbims cut offs will be nothing less than 99.97 and sydenham will be 99.95 , take it from me ,
well the mumbai guys can reduce the cut offs by 2 marks but for OMS guys it can onli increase , i cant see it falling so no false consoling will help rather it wud be better to concentrate on next rounds ,

since 99.3 is 137 i expect 98.88 to b arnd 133..to dis if i add 27(moderate score taken by rahine)...i end up getting...160...still missing pumba by 3 marks....so gys pour in ur replies...so dat we can realy gt closer to d expected cutoffs...

dont worry so much about PUMBA , yull definiteli get thru there i have told to vary marks by 2 or 3 , and for PUMBA yu can do it but i have already predicted low cut offs for PUMBA so i cant go below that , yu can fancy yurself in PUMBA definiteli with a brilliant gd pi in the next rounds , so yes yu are safeli in PUMBA , so keep working hard thats it ,
