Sorry but I don't agree with your views on AICTE approval, for MBA it may not be that essential but for B.E,M.E/MTech,M.S it is a must else one will not be recognized equivelent to MTech by industry or other recognised Educational Institutes. Moreover I think your institute offers MSP-AIT and MBA-IT courses, not MS and MBA
Which firms visit your institute for campus placements regularly,I think your institute takes three admissions per year. Please don' dodge this question by giving data on off campus placements which depends on capability of Indivisual students.
I have seen outlookindia rankings they have named your institute IIIT pune but your institute is not a IIIT it is IsquareIT,they have put your institute as a government collage but the fact is that your institute is not even approved by any government body, they have claimed that they have ranked AICTE approved institutes offering undergraduate
courses(IISc does not appear in the list) but your institute offers job oriented cretificate courses only.
Some how I find very hard to digest outlook rankings which has ranked several private collages above NIT's and IIIT's.Proberbly the ranks below 20 where decided on paying capability.More you can pay to outlook better is the rank of your institute.Judgement on the autheticity of these is left to intellegence of readers |
let me clear your doubt... SAP/SAS we have separate lab avaliable here on campus thru which u can work and do ur research. this company not coming for placement.. its a academic colloboration.
and y r u telling like for MBA AICTE approval is not much essential but for MS it is.. whats wrong in that institute not recognize by AICTE companies coming here for placement and they keep coming each yr.. so its Induatry Interface u look for if u r telling in placement concern. companies know abt this institute and come for placement.. and they are all aware that its not AICTE approve then also they come for placement.
and yes this institute is more toward IT in both MBA and MS and MSP-AIT is just a programme name thr are several programme available in MS like ANT,AST,VLSI,CFD and for MBA specialization in Marketting, HR, Finance is also available
and yes I2IT have three intake per yr. Jan, June and Sept. for placement you can get idea from Institute website.. you can get idea abt which cmp coming for interview.. there are some more cmp also this time bcoz 2005 batch placement is goin on right now so it will get updated for 2005 batch by the time placement process get over.
and I already made it clear in my earlier post that my mistake they print as Govt. college. and IIIT - International Institute of Information Technology. so as far as I know thr is no other IIIT in Pune except I2IT
and abt Outlook survey its all upto you whether you want to believe it or not. if u want to believe it ,its good and if u dont want to believe then its all abt individual thinking.. nobody going to force you to believe it.

Is you Institute accredited by NBA or approved by AICTE,being listed on Nasscom makes sense for IT Firms,it sounds stupid for an Educational Institute.
I am not sure if you know this or not but Finolex Group is a declining Indian Family run business continously declining in its net asset value.
One of my Profs who was with your Dr Bhatkar at IIT Delhi( He did his PhD with him)does'nt really have a very high openion of him.He says Dr Bhatkar makes a significan amount money as an Educational Broker by selling his reputation to Businessmen.
Are you really a student or someone sting in admission cell of this institute advertising for Isquareit? |
Hi Vishal,
I apologize I was away so cudnt reply to your posts.
Quite amazing to see the above posts. I wonder why are you so much interested in Isquareit/IIIT/I2IT ?
Anywayz regarding your comments about Prof. Bhatkar that I believe is something personal from your professor probably bcoz he was not able to rise in his life to the same stature as Prof. Bhatkar.I am not interested in what your so called professor says.
Being a student of Finolex group's campus I am in a better position that you
I did mention in my post that I am a student of IIIT/Isquareit read clearly.
Isquareit/IIIT is not approved by AICTE and NBA bcoz then these SAP/SAS affiliations wud come a cropper and our campus wud be running under pune university so wud have to abide by that.
I dont need to advertise for IIIT
Being IIIT or Isquareit doesn't make much diff. being affiliated to AICTE doesn't make too much of difference also

Few corrections,IsquareIT is not a IIIT anyone can verify this from management of this institute itself.
Courses offered by this institute are MSP-AIT in AST,ANT,VLSI,Embedded etc and MBA-IT,it canot and doesnot offer M.S and MBA programs as it is not approved by AICTE anyone can verify this fact from this institute it self.
Only people not capable of getting any job and incapable of getting into any decent institute join isquareit. For such people isquareit does make sense however please donot use this forum for spreading misinformation.

IIIT (B'lore, Hyd, Gwalior,Allahabad) this all are "Indian Institue of Information Technology. and all this are Government institute while I2IT (or IsquareIT) is Private autonomous institute belongs HOPE Foundation, Finolax Group.
and MSP-AIT it means MS Programme in Adavance Information Technology. so its a Master program.
and just for ur kind information all the details posted here are correct there is not any misinformation abt I2IT
and your view abt I2IT of course you can express your view freely but u cant say in general like "Only people not capable of getting any job and incapable of getting into any decent institute join isquareit".. its all depends on person view how you look at thing..

U mean to say a trimester based course, unapproved AICTE,not an University, not afflieted to any university is a Masters program because it is called MS Program in Advance Information Technology(MSP-AIT),in that case they shoud open a PhDP-AIT (PhD Program in Advance Information Technology) which will be a PhD Program.
Why are u trying to fool yourself ravi?If u don't get campus placement from isquareit(which is highly likely) certificates offered by this institute are worth nothig more than tissue paper in the market and U will be very lucky if you stay with isquareit is not treated as education gap.
Anyways since u seem very determined to do u'r MBA from isquareit, let us hope it get's recognition during your study with this institute.
Best of Luck | | | | | | | |
