ya this time they restricted admission to not specially for Enginnering but they look for IT background... as almost all our MBAJune 06 batch have Engineering in IT or CS or any equal IT Beckground...

Hi Dampy,
What is the nature of partnership of your institute with SAP/SAS/Tibco/CA do they come to your campus for palcements or have they donated any labs to your institute or they just offer certification through you Institute.

Is you Institute accredited by NBA or approved by AICTE,being listed on Nasscom makes sense for IT Firms,it sounds stupid for an Educational Institute.

I am not sure if you know this or not but Finolex Group is a declining Indian Family run business continously declining in its net asset value.

One of my Profs who was with your Dr Bhatkar at IIT Delhi( He did his PhD with him)does'nt really have a very high openion of him.He says Dr Bhatkar makes a significan amount money as an Educational Broker by selling his reputation to Businessmen.

Are you really a student or someone sting in admission cell of this institute advertising for Isquareit?

Hi all, I'm a BE(CS) with 91% in GATE 2006. I'm aaplying for MSP at IIIT pune for SEPT 06 batch. Whats the selection criteria and selection process? Is doing MSP there good? As per my investigation, it was'nt AICTE recognized. But they said that it is good. What abt placements and studies there? Someone plz reply...

Why do u want to go for an unrecognised institute when u can get recognised MTech Degree for 1/4 th the cost.Your GATE score is average but you can get a decent MTech program with good placements.Just look around and do a proper research

for SAP/SAS/TIBCO ..I2IT have academic collobaratin.. lab for all this is available here on campus.

and for CA, I2IT also have acadmic collobaration. in this course expert ppl frm industry and frm CA also teach subject which is require for CAcertification exam..

as far as AICTE recognization concern.. . I2IT is not recognize by AICTE.. but in my openion it does't make any diff. as u look at industry interface and placement..and both are quite good here @I2IT

regarding MBA program.. here in I2IT MBA program is design towards IT but diff. specilization like Marketing,HR ad Finance also avalilabel.
course curriculam is very good and they just update entire course in June 06 which is applicable to Sept 06 also

for MS program pls be more specific abt ur specialization bcoz here diff. specialization isavailable like VLSI,ANT,AST,CFD...etc..

placement is good for all MS program. u dont need to worry abt it..
for selectoin.. thr is common Aptitute test for all and following course specific test and interview..

the infrastructure of I2it is good but couple of my friends r studying at this insti n they told me that MS is good but MBA is a dicy game....even m interested in going for I2it but still havent been sucessfull in grabin info abt the placements....any ANSWERs???

I still don't have answer to my questions, do SAP/SAS/TIBCO/CA come to your campus for placements or they have donated labs to your institutes.There is no big deal in having collobarations in offering certificates at extra cost,any average institute can get it.

Sorry but I don't agree with your views on AICTE approval,for MBA it may not be that essential but for B.E,M.E/MTech,M.S it is a must else one will not be recognized equivelent to MTech by industry or other recognised Educational Institutes.Moreover I think your institute offers MSP-AIT and MBA-IT courses,not MS and MBA

Which firms visit your institute for campus placements regularly,I think your institute takes three admissions per year.Please don' dodge this question by giving data on off campus placements which depends on capability of Indivisual students.

I have seen outlookindia rankings they have named your institute IIIT pune but your institute is not a IIIT it is IsquareIT,they have put your institute as a government collage but the fact is that your institute is not even approved by any government body,they have claimed that they have ranked AICTE approved institutes offering undergraduate
courses(IISc does not appear in the list) but your institute offers job oriented cretificate courses only.

Some how I find very hard to digest outlook rankings which has ranked several private collages above NIT's and IIIT's.Proberbly the ranks below 20 where decided on paying capability.More you can pay to outlook better is the rank of your institute.Judgement on the autheticity of these is left to intellegence of readers
