Going to have a "busier-than-CEO" schedule from 23rd Nov. '03 to 18th Jan. '03 !!

Here's the "Final List of B-Schools I m applying to."

23rd Nov. '03 - CAT (1100-1300)
7th Dec. '03 - SCMHRD (1500-1730)
14th Dec. '03 - JMET (??)
28th Dec. '03 - IMT (??)
5th Jan. '04 - XAT (??)
11th Jan. '04 - IIFT (1000-1200)
18th Jan. '04 - FMS (1400-1600) + (either SIBM (1000-1230) or NITIE (??) or neither .. most proably SIBM)

Never heard a single good thing about this institute. Are you sure you wanna put your money in for this one ?

cat,scmhrd,jmet,icfai,bim,xat,iift,fms

tht makes my sundays pretty hot in foggy winter
days in delhi,i guess.

IMT is not that bad...i wud like to make a stmnt here..an IMT topper wud definitely be better off than an average IIM guy <mebbe not a/b/c> but still..

i wud defntly giv the exam n leave the decision for later..

How come you miss NITIE (if ur an engineer). Its a pretty decent college having high ranking in most of magazine. Personally I would prefer to apply to the following ..(ranking, depend on money constrain).

1. CAT (MDI, SPJain)
2. XAT
3. NITIE
4. FMS
5. JMET
6. IIFT

still if some money left (which I don't think I will)
7. Symbiosis
8. IMT

General Gyaan: Its always better to hedge your risk by applying to few low rung colleges. You can always decide not to join them depending on the situation, preference and taste.

IMO, SIBM is easier to crack than NITIE .. so choosing it over NITIE ..

Saala main to kangaal ho gaya .. !... at this rate u will be ARUN.. but i fail to understand a few things... look .. the list above looks like a direct pick from the TOP LIST or whatever... but arent u & others looking at any particular area.. like.. what u wanna do & where u wanna make ur career kinds???.....One Skool is great for HR.... other for General... one for industrial... & OMG.. one another for Foreign trade.. Yeh Kya ho Rahan hain.... .... U forgot MICA.. that would add a dash of more versatility...


Think & work around ur areas of interests & ur future goals guys... dont let the numbers lead u.... U will have a lot of answering to do during interviews... BEWARE!!!

Mine is Simple... plain ABC IIMS... & ISB... .. Am editing the post... ...i forgot SPJain ..

XLRI - BMD
FMS
IIFT
NITIE

Yes, i am not focussed, but, heck, if i saty one more year in this company, i am damn sure, i am going to loose focus on my career

dunno, whether i will apply MICA or not ( btw, Brand Management is my fav )
