Reproducing my post from the other thread 4 the convenience of ppl...
OMS people... READ ON....
Here is wht i got frm a site...
"Last Years Written Test Topper in CET was Varun Khanna with a score for 142 (99.99 percentile). However, Varun was only the Mumbai Univeristy topper. The actual written test topper was Rajneesh Kumar, with a score of 156. Rajneesh is a Outside Maharashtra candidate."
So.. that clears the confusion about the toppers' score last time. Indeed it was 156..and how 99.99 in other exams' was converted to 141 by the CET score converter..
This proves my theory that ..
"The equivalent CET score for a particular percentile in other exams will be equal to the score of lowest marks for that particular percentile in CET.."
e.g. 99.99 percentile score this has been reported by three guys with scores of 160, 158 n 156. Assuming that 156 indeed is the lowest score with a 99.99 percentile, 99.99 percetile in any other exam MAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/JMET will be converted to a score of 156 and not 158 or 160.
I hope I was clear enough and you (OMS ppl) might have been able to comprehend the funda behind the working of Equivalent CET score converter...
PS: I hav got 99.92 with 149... n I'll be giving MAY-MAT... So I have 6/7 marks (Assuming minimum 99.99 score of CET to be 155/156 resp.) to cover....:grab:
Everything to play (read study) for.
A hell YEAH frm my side..
