why are most of the ppl under the impression that if they have got a call from GIM or BIM ,then they shud get a call from LIBA too?

Is it because most ppl think those 2 colleges better than LIBA?

Its so unfair to compare colleges & predict the cut-off..i hope things are clear for such kinda ppl..

there is no correlation between calls from LIBA,GIM,.BIM watsoever...
It all depends on wat application each college selects..

LIBA selected the 375 most appropriate(???) candidates from the pool of applicants...simple...or not?

Why are ppl shying from mentioning their XAT %tile...?

mik please respond to my earlier post regarding what are in general the criteria for calls(ie xat, acad, community,etc).

more than shying away from posting their xat scores, this thread has ppl who are surprised their scores(most above 85) did not fetch a call. It is not about comparison of institutes. Of course each institute has full liberty to have their own criteria for selection and today, as most of us are witnessing , even the liberty not to mention them explicitly. But as aspirants,we have to go by some past record in terms of planning for the whole process of admission. if everything is so unpredictable and b school ratings/processes change so greatly over a year it does cause us to be surprised. We are not saying that bim/gim or some other college is better than liba when we say we have a call from them. just that going by past experience in scores for cut off trends have sure changed a lot this year. thanks
