Point is ... Spend 2 years in a poor college ... The work for 3 years ... You will have a package of 2.5 - 3. Max.
Work for 1 year ... Prepare Well ... Get in to a good B School ... Work for 2 years ... You can draw thrice the salary.
In the unknown b schools you will start with 10000 pm and after 3 yrs you will draw 20k-25k unless you do an outstanding job or you have ur own business. | | | | | | | |

ARe you sure about this, I always thought ,
that in case of a tie the sequence is
1-written score in CET
2- PI marks
3- GD marks
4- 12th marks
5-10 marks
6-alphabetical order.
Anyways not much of a problem.
ALso acadfunda we have become quite familiar with this name,
I am now kind of curious what your real name is.
Can you please share that with us? Read what V-P Bank Of America, PUMBA Alumnus 1988 Batch, said on a recent visit to campus HerePrahlad Kakkar and Dilip Chabria @ PUMBA Achievers 2008 awards ceremony Here

now that the results are out,its time to look forward to the ranks and filling up of option forms.just go thru the below given piece of info and be careful while you fill your option form. CAP Round No. No. of Options to be filled in No. of the option allotted for which confirming Admission is Mandatory Remarks First 15 options
(Min. 1 and Max. 15) Any one of the first FIVE options Candidate has to confirm the admission, if he/she gets allotment of any one choice from first five options. Such candidates will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-II,III & IV, irrespective of the fact that such candidate confirms the admission or not.
Other candidates who have got allotment between options 6~15 may also confirm the admission if he/she wishes so, however such candidate will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-II,III & IV. Second 20 fresh options
(Min. 1 and Max. 20) Any one of the first SEVEN options Candidate has to confirm the admission, if he / she gets allotment of any choice from first Seven options. Such candidates will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-III &I V, irrespective of the fact that such candidate confirms the admission or not.
Other candidates who have got allotment between options 8~20 may confirm the admission if he/she wishes so, however such candidate will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-III & IV. Third 25 fresh options
(Min. 1 and Max. 25) Any one of the options allotted Candidate has to confirm the admission, if he/she gets allotment of any one of the options, such candidate will not be able to participate in last round of CAP i.e. Round-IV, irrespective of the fact that such candidate confirms the admission or not. Fourth round by Counseling --- reference: CAT 2008 : Common Admission Test so while fillin the option form for 1st,2nd or 3rd round be careful.do not give lower cut off wala options.for eg. if u have 175,and u give the 3rd option as welingkar(1st=JB,2nd=sydenham obviously),it may so happn that u get into welingkar in d 1st round itself and then miss out on sydenham in the subsequent rounds.
similarly if u have say about 162 or so just fill d options upto welingkar and somaiyya.dont give your 5th option as PUMBA caz it may turn out that u get into PUMBA in d 1st round itself and then miss out on upgradation to welingkar in the subsequent rounds.so guys/gals keep you heads on your shoulders while you fill the option form.my advice will be to stick to the top 4,viz.JB,SYDEN,WELING,SOMAIYYA for the first 3 rounds(ofcourse if u hav scored decent).u can run for other lower colleges during the 4th(counselling)round. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
