m new to dis place,,so do excuse me if am posting ma query at the wrong place,,,
am terribly confused bout the fees structure of Christ college,bangalore,,,
the christ college website sums it out as 4.5 lacs,,but i keep cuming across posts where dey say its bout 9 lacs,,,,
kindly puhlease lemme kno wats dis variation all bout.....

Hi buddy,

No need to get confused regarding the fees...Its only 4.5 lacs for the current batch for the Noraml MBA...please note that..
And the one u r talking about is for the MBA(german)...this includes 3 months study in Germany in the II yr...
I hope its clear now...

but stil have lot many confusions regardin Christ n the whole MBA thing,,,hope u wont mind clearing dem up too..
1]do lemme kno howz Christ College MBA,,,the average placement package,,the highest package as well...

2]which one's better from the placement point of view?? Normal MBA or the MBA(german)

3]am a christian,,,so considering the reservation thing there for christians,,,wat should be a safe CAT n MAT %tile dat i should be aiming for to get a call from christ....????

4]apart from the 4.5 lacs fees,are there any major hidden charges dat may pop up during the two yrs course period???

-CHRIST UNIVERSITY BANGALORE is a deemed university.

As per last year's admission procedure,
-Total fee Only 4.5 lacs for normal MBA. hostel etc extra
-Applying with a high MAT score is better. [If MAT %ile is numerically smaller then CAT use CAT score! ]
-There will be 2 chances to apply: First after Dec. MAT (was in February 2009), and other after Feb MAT. In both chances, we can apply using any MAT score or CAT score. But in the second admission process, the number of seats will be less.

I converted last year. We need to pay the full first year fee (about 2.5lacs) at the time of admission. When I asked about the cancellation and refund, they said - You can cancel the admission at any time, and no refund will be provided! If selected, we need to pay fee within 10 days after GDPI and no refund. Too much early. No option to try for a better college! So I didn't join there
The placements are not that much better. Christ College is only just an average college.

i know a person who is studying at christ, he was asked to pay additional fee for the german tour. i dont know the veracity of this information but i would advise u to be very careful.

I m enrolled to the normal MBA here..and i have friends taken the german course...yeah as i mentioned in my previous posts that fees for German course of MBA is higher than the normal MBA, infact almost double..which is obvious...
