hi mik,
i am planning to join liba.but i donot know how to apply.
in the site it is given to apply online by visting liba.edu but i don't see any online registration link in the site.can any student from liba check that out.

check out an area on the page which is named as "admissions" and click on it... its jus like registering for any other xat- based college like XLRI or XIMB

1>Do IT&ITES companies come for placement eg wipro,infy,tcs etc
2>are u sure that avg salary is 4.5.
plz give min,avg,max sal
3>after placements where are ppl mostly posted.

the point isnt 4.5L or 5.5L-thts all misleading manipulations.

ask whts the designations offered---like icici offers management trainees(management level) at IMI and sr officers(executive level) at bimtech and likes......

so tell us buddy.
lets get the facts right.

all these figures of 4.5Lacs----all false lies---pple beware----few good salaries-avrg goes up.....n 4.5Lacs ctc means just (2.4Lacs-20k p.m in hand)....

@quilon1982 - yeh the summer placements have started..
people have got into hutch,hyundai,jones lang lasalle,ashok leyland,nestle,kochi refineries,samsung,us tech,reebok
while the interview process is slated for red bull,karvy,hcl,hexaware,flextronics,nokia,ma foi,motilal oswal etc

NEw hostel is awesome..yes it can accomodate all out station students..so no issues on that front either.2500 includes food & single occupancy

@rami_manaise - 85%tile shud fetch u a call....but this yr u never know

INFOSYS took 6 students --paying them 6.5 L / annum
TCS took 1 - not sure but something around 4.2
Satyam - 3 ppl
sify - 1
CTS - 2 ppl - 6 L

and do visit the placement thread for more details...

@ choc_guy21 - Every college gives out the CTC avg. salary..& EVERYONE knows about it...so why the bEWARE thing?

TCS gave 3.8 ctc

I do agree with mik that no college calculates the in hand average salary
choc_guy commented that the salaries mentioned are all lies,i do invite u to liba and check out for yourself whether liba has 4.7 ctc or not
so when any college claims of average salary say 4 lakhs or 7 lakhs,there is no 'lie' in it.it indeed is the fact and everyone knows what one gets in hand is quite less than ctc.nothing secretive about it

every insts declares ctc.......so thts why we have u guys here on pg to tell us the facts and not the official facts...get me?

if one checks threads like those of imi ull see students giving the ground facts...n thts whts helpfull.

pardon me if i was wrong...i didnt mean to say the figure are wrong----bt u know and i know how these figures are arrived at...statistically it cant be disputed---bt if u take the real picture-its very diffrent sometimes......few 7lacs make avrage boom.....

n abt mods doing thr jobs-thy know their jobs-thanks so much for the concern.

remembr the use of pg is to help aspirants get the real picture-if tht offends u thni guess u shoudnt have started the thread....

iipms avrg placements are 5 lacs too-so does tht mean its all truth?

see ur alrdy a student.we are not.and this forum is there to help us take a informed decison.

as far as the ctc is concerned..have already mentioned it in the placement thread..

that shud be enough for u...i guess so

hey mik,can u tell me which companies from IT are coming to LIBA.And where do guys get posted,in chennai only or outside chennai.can u draw some pros/cons between LIBA AND XIME.wat will be expected cutoff in XAT for LIBA.(with work ex)please do reply
