the placements in alliance r pretty decent. it depends on the calibre of the student. the institution does its best to bring in the best companies. there r students with very high pay as well as not-so-good-pay. wat u heard is right, there are students who ended up gettin only 8K per month, but they r very few..like only 1/2 per batch. on an average, u can rate the pay as 25K INR per month.

and comparing to christ, alliance is doing well in placements since the past 2 yrs...and also the faculty here is good.

the fee: there r 3 programs in alliance. pgdm, sbs(swiss B skool), and MBA- bangalore uni. i am in the MBA program and our fee is 4.5 lakhs for the course, excluding hostel charges. the fee for sbs is also 4.5 lakhs and for pgdm, its 4 lakhs. there r talks in the campus that the juniors will hav to pay more than wat we r payin, but none of us is sure of the exact amt.

I got 85.8%ile in CAT. Does alliance consider CAT score??.And when is the last date to apply for MBA course at alliance....please do reply.

i hv mat percentile of 84.84%ile and hv scheduled interview at alliance on 24th feb 2006....i wud be appearing for it though havent decided as too join it or not if selected.....
i am from delhi and wud like to know if there is nebody else from delhi going to ABA too???

sorry. had been busy lately.

UFO, u asked the questions i hav already answered. avg salary, lowest pay.. highest pay this yr was 5.5 to 6 lakhs per annum by oracle. few other companies visited were mindtree, citifinancials, icici, HDFC, HSBC, etc...

vivekchawla, during placements, the students from diff courses r not distinguished. MBA is affiliated to Bangalore uni.

princeparas, avg take home salary is 20K-25K per month. allaince is better than ICFAI-pune, chennai any day.

missnazar, am a student at alliance, not an admission officer. i do not know the last date etc for applications. kindly call up n verify with the concerned persons.

any more doubts guys?

hey how u know their Selection process is rigrous..please share more information if u know more abt happening GD PI process..

btw when they actually started the selection process and how many seats are already filled as they declare results on that very day..
