As per TIME analysis, your rank would be anywhere in the range 1500-2000. However, since you have work-ex and excellent acads, you have a fair chance of getting a call.

So, keep your fingers crossed!

Hi Sudhir,
I am doubtful about your eligibility, as I think only BEs, and B.Techs are eligible- this is eligibility criterion-

Only those candidates are eligible for appllying who have a Bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering or technology (AICTE approved) from a University/Institute with with at least 60% of marks or grade point average of 6.0 on a scale of 10.0 in aggregate based on average over whole program. Students with AMIE or similar distance learning qualification are not eligible for this program.

Ur eligibility would depend on what u did your bachelor's in and if it is approved by the AICTE.So just in case it is, do let me know i will find out further.
Your JMET score would get you a rank of 1500 or so.

I have done my BSc. Computer Science from University of Jammu and it is recognised by AICTE.

Last year, the GD/PI was held at three centers: Kanpur, Delhi and Mumbai.

The application for admission released this time categorically mentions that the GD/PI would be held only at IIT Kanpur itself. However, should there be any changes in this schedule, we will keep you informed.

A couple of GD/PI experiences are already posted, more will follow once the JMET results are out.
