Cuttoff were bit vary last time... ppl with score in 30's got call while ppl in 50's and 60's didn't get call... Converting a call is also important....many ppl in scores of 60's and 70's who got calls weren't able to convert them... regarding GD, the topics were very abstract... like... PIZZA v/s Parantha.... women impowerment.... 2+2= 5.... these were some i remember during my time.... It was like... I appeared for my GD/PI in Delhi... First i gave a psychometeric test...some 40 odd questions to be written in 20 mins... then had a cool gd session.... after that solved a small case study (simple situation tests one may call it...)... then had an interwiew which was mix of technical and general.... thats it.... next what i got was my name in merit list of finally selected ppl...

Hey i dont have much idea abt cutoff of SIOM... as SIOM started last year in Nasik.... Symbi has closed SCMHRD nasik campus and shifted 2nd yr students to SCMHRD pune campus... So SIOM has started in Nasik campus... SCIT, SIIB and SCIT have same campus and hostel and mess... just that floors are different....for SCIT cutoffs, plz refer to my prev post.

Hey ravi... the ques in psychometric test are not like di/ds type... these are subjective questions (say 40 ques with 1-2 lines answers to be filled in 20mins)... Some questions are repeated, but the manner in they are asked is different.... questions would be like..." You fit best in your group because..." or "Your group thinks you are best because..." ....... Its better to answer these ques with truth... checks ur psycho and consistency of answering.

Hey Mohit,
Ur background in computer is a plus point for u... regarding course its ur taste...ur decision... all 4 courses offred by scit are good and have 100% placement... so, i'll suggest go according to ur liking.... Also SCIT takes mix of work ex and freshers like any other B-school... Even i was a fresher before joining SCIT. Hope for good.
