Hi IIFM aspirants!!!

I am the student of IIFM current batch 2006-08..
First I wud like 2 answer the query of S_raj... Yes there are lot of career options for any one whether he/she is an IT graduate or Arts grad... I m also an IT graduate and we are 5-6 IT grads in our current batch and 7-8 IT people from last batch i.e 2005-07..
Its upto u 2 choose the sector u want to go for... Like at IIFM we have GIS "Geographical Information System" as one of the electives available for one who is interested in something related 2 IT... there are some alumni who joined core software companies after PGDFM..
As far as ur experience is concerned it will be beneficial 4 u 2 excel smoothly after PGDFM.. If u want any further clarification dont hesitate 2 contact me on : giteshgunjan@hotmail.com..

Now for rahul:..... As u must be aware that IIFM is one of the best institute of its kind not only in india.... but in whole of Asia...
If u really interested in something related 2 Natural resource management, Ecology and environment and Development sectors, Microfinance, NGOs.. I want 2 tell u 1 thing that IIFM is the best place 4 u. The infrastructure, campus and of course the programme structure at IIFM is really unmatchable...
The course curriculum is such that you will learn the general management(which generally all management inst. teach) as well as the management in forestry and related areas...

IIFM is one of the most economic MBA institutes in India.. Not only that, you will be given a stipend of Rs 1500 per month by the Govt. of India...

So, if you really want 2 become a green manager.. do join IIFM... If you want any information write 2 me either thru this forum or thru the email adress mentioned above.

Best of luck first 4 ur MOCKCATS and then 4 Actual CAT..
