JMET Online Application Site --Not working properly??

hi all,
now this is limit yaar,
at leas these a**holes cud post pone the last date for online registration if they are unable to host their sites
also these ever helping iit sr.
no where in sight.
this is putting not a black spot but a whole asian paints distamper on their image,face etc. etc.
kahan ho Sr. log

koi to batao yeh itni ch*tia site kaise aur kyon bani.

i have registered 2-3 days back !!
but i have made payment today...but now it is not letting me in !!!

till how long it'll take to show up the status of payment?/?

The website says "Please wait for some days for the status of the payment to be updated on the application". So relax yaar!!! But then make sure you have a copy of the transaction statement for future references.

hi all

I was also unable to register yesterday inspite of a number of tries, but was able to complete the registration process in just 45 min. today around 4:30 AM.
Maybe iit people have fixed the bug.

I have only one doubt, i made the payment through credit card and i have heard that it takes 2-3 days for it to be confirmed whereas it's written on the site that payment should be recieved by 3rd october. If's that's a concern????

hi there!

See we knoiw there are some discrepancies in the site and IIT B admin must be trying to sort out the prob. We at other IITs cant do much about it, but what is advisable is that you guys shoudl try to apply offline. Its easier compared to the online one.

all the best to u guys, for the form and then for the exam!!!!

these a**holes are making this a really painful procedure.

i am going to register offline .
but the problem is i have to take 1 day leave for it and then a 3 week leaave for
CAT man that makes matter worse.

If any candidate is having problem in uploading the image files, follow the steps given below.
Try to load image files after some time and preview the application. If the images are still not seen, you can confirm the application and get the appln no.
As the last date for making payment is Oct. 3, 2005, you may go ahead and make the payment.
Send the image files to jmet06[at] it.iitb.ac.in, as an attachment mentioning your userid and appln no.

I've faced all of the problem u guys have mentioned. Filling up JMET online form was like opening pandoras box for me.......one problem led to another problem. Uploading scanned photos was completed after lots of frastration. Then came the SBI ATM part. The option for JMET fee was temporarily out of service. After bloody 2 to 3 days i caught the first sight of JMET fee option. I made the payment letting out a huge sigh of relief but to my utter dismay the ATM did not print out the transction slip and so i was left without knowing the transction number. I tried again but faced the same problem and in the process made double payment. Today I got a mail from IIT confirming the payment i've made but the bloody JMET website is not opening. I am left perplexed and listless as how how am gonna enter the tranction number........God knows !!!. And i even can't go for offline since by the time i return back from office the banks are closed (i have leave only on sunday). I hope this message gets to the JMET cordinators.
