hi ,
i want to know some details about SITM course.
the core/optional subjects offered in SITM seem to be hardcore telecom. i'm an electonics and telecom engg .... can sumone fill me up with wat avenues would be open to me if i decide to take up a course in SITM with specialisation in say finance. wat i would like to know in particular is wat value addition would the course make to me since i already have a basic degree in telecom; as opposed to a finance specialisation from sum other inst.
hope sumone studying/passed out of SITM will be able to help me with this!!

Life @ xxx threads are typically started by students in that school !!! Let it remain that way !! In case you want info on SITM, then make sure the thread title reflects that. You can't drive people to post abt their life unless they want to !!

hey...
personally i have no idea whether they give preference to engineers or not. but i have read in PG in the previous thread that they do look out for engineers.

better confirm it with some experienced PG-ites...

I heard the job profile that people are getting after telecom management is almost same as what a Electronics/Commu engg gets after his/her BE/BTec. so, it just acts as tag rather then real value addition. Is it true? Can you tell me what were the profile's offered in latest placement week.

I am Electrical engg with 1.5years of exp with one of leading Business house of India, Is there any inclincation in recruitment in campus palcements for Electronics/Communitcation engg or should i get fair chances?

Also, inform me about the list of companies and salaries offered.
