Dude...if you look at the post it is 3 months old,I like you,also wanted information on SITM cos I wanted to get into a gud telecom company but after talking to ppl n lookin at the very technical placements,I have decided against it.Its not for me.I dont wanna specialize soo early in my career.

See its wise to apply to SITM only if u r a telecom engineer , else u will end up dumping ur money for the development of SITM for others sake.Now i hope u ppl get what i am saying .

neone...having any kindda idea..what r the designation SITM-ites join as! coz there r some disturbing rumors floating around that SITM alumni get the same job profile as a b.tech does!!

hi guys....
Well SITM is a fairly decent institute.....got good placements....not so good on the infra...but tht applies to all symby inst.except SIBM...faculty is good...core specialization will remain for the telecom sector only........i got thru last year...my SNAP score was 71.....cut off went somewhr around 55.....just as a peice of caution i wud like to throw light on following facts....
- one should join only when you are seriously aiming to mk your career in telecom field. Dont join just for d sake of joining....
- dis course is a specialized course and you will be confined to telecom sector only...so watch out....
anywaz...at d end of d day...I wud rate dis one better than any b-school not in top-20.....all d best.......u can visit following link for more info....

Can Any1 tell me which option is better 4 SITm-Marketing & Finance/System & Finance.I am really confused as 2 apply 4 which option bcoz it is a telecom & IT specialization institute & I donno whether it wud b right 2 take marketing & Finance,I mean I donno whether I can get placement equally good as Sys & Finance.
My background is Electronics & Telecommunication Engg.
Sum1 plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz help!

Buddy Both are equally good and i guess Marketting is hot in the market ...Systems has more of Computer knw and technical stuff.
Placements are equal , with marketing having the highest package always
