Laterals do get consideration at TISS.. although there is no oficial policy as such... one of our seniiors who joined a software firm, with realaveant work ex did get a better offer than the others who have joined the same firm.....

And as for salaries it is the metal you are that will fetch the price .......... not which store or which jewellry that you are branded as...... Although the brand (HR /MRKTG etc) and the store (Insti ) do have a minor effect on your prospects , lot depends solely on you friend.......

Im having a 21 month software industry as of now ....Will that help in the placements in TISS or you are treated as a fresher in there....
Is there any concept of lateral placement in there.Moreover how do you compare HR with finance/marketing w.rt to salary you draw .

I am glad to inform you that I have also been shortlisted for gd/pi. I was wondering how many hyderabadis are being shortlisted.....

It is indeed very depressing to see the quality of questions that are being raised in PG forum and that it doesnt give anyone of us to even logon to the PG and check for anything interesting...
