How was the exam???

I think the paper was cool except the GK part for moi !!

For the Essay I remember the topics were :

1. Globalization benefits the rich more than the poor

2.Urbanisatn & environment degradation

3.India as an emerging mkt : prospects & problems..

heyy guys..
surprised to see tiss thread almost dead! no discussions,no speculations abt the paper eh?!
anyhow..I thought the apti part of the test was a real breeze..cut solve all of dem(with 5-6 tukkas)..GK was kinda tough.but i guess atleast I got 10 of dem right..
so it all boils down to the essay to get thru..which ill miss out on most probabily coz of my baddd handwriting.!
alll the very best to all of ya..results to be out on 18th.

well the paper was easy, didnt solve all though......attempted around 99.

The General Knowledge Questions werent all that easy.

Attempted the :India as an emergin market....... essay, wrote about 3 sides of the fullscap.....could have structured it better though.

People were talkin about the cutoffs......being 45 or so......was under the impression that it would be relative grading and by the looks of the paper......it might be high.

Mumbai Junta no reply for meeting up .. anyways !!! My exam experience was not that bad , though i know that this is the end of my post grad dream this year. Well the paper was supposed to be of 85 odd marks , i belive with objective to be 60 marks ; amazing math itself was 50 marks ... My paper was like attempted all of DI and Logical reasoning ; Attempted 46 maths ... GK was like hmmm .. to be thought about did not attend unnecessarily ... Just remember few questions t+2 -> That was for stock market .. t+2 trading and settlment takes place ; rest GK quastions do i remember any ....... People throw up questions ......... .. Well maths was easy ... did i find any questions tough.. hmm let me think .. no .. One question I could not understand was the wicket cricket one with inter-se thing... first thought the Venezuela one to be head spinning but in the end moment got the e thing in place there was only one choise where 'e' had the same corresponding number ... Anyways what would the cut off be no idea !!!!!!!!!

Coming to the essay i wrote the Globalization thing one , found the time to be less had loads to write shit , anyways started of with Adam smith Definition of Globalization , took ecnominc inequality as one of the reason , explained that with Ginnin coefficient then TRIPS , that was the end , there was only 5 minutes so had to end , wrote 4 pages , essay was not at all structured so dont find myself in ..SHIT !!!! I was so damn prepared with the globalization thing !!!
Anyways people ATB to you all for the results !!!!!

gk was tough.....

dont know what exactly they will look for in the essay.....wrote the globalisation one.......they gave us 8 pages........i could barely write two pages,but at least i iknow i didnt write rubbish......


if theres any one who has given this paper before ,how easy or how difficult was this one compared to last year??

easy paper...attempted 100+...dint have time to completeley finish the essay...worte it on emreging markets....

hey i think the paper except gk would have been quite a walkover for many expect many people to get calls for gd and pi however i think the paper was of 150 marks in the prospectus they have given objective test counts for 60 marks out of 200 marks procedure so whatvever score we get we divide it by 2.5 right and add it to essay marks and if over 43 then a gd pi call from tiss all the best to all
