hi friends so by now u all must be ready for tiss.
i have problem pls help me out.
i applied for tiss bt was nt sure of getting a call frm there as i didn't fullfilled the % criteria.
bt i hav rcvd the hall ticket n goin to write tiss.although i didn't expect the hall ticket.
i have prepared for the apti part bt i m stuck with G>k.pls any1 tell me a good site or mag where i can find the major happenings of 2005.also pls tell me if the g.k part is restricted to business or it covers every other thing.plsssssssssssssss help me out.

here's a tip...dont go fr the center thru laxmi nagar route....
when coming from delhi...go through the i.t.o bridge...take a left on the red light immediately after red light...go down the road...u will pass a cng station...then a right tuen...and voila!!on the left u have lawrence convenant....

go thru laxmi nagar route and u will have to cut thru the narrowest and most dense streets of krishna nagar and co....trust me..i tried this a couple of days back and boy it was frustarting...

also dont hold me to this....lol...

hey padfoot...though i'm nowhere near u in terms of experience......but just thought i'd give u my pt of view....well i feel doing an MBA and in this case HR in specific hs to b somethng ur v v clear of...is it just the stamp of a good b school one is looking for or is it the love for the field(hr),the money,or watever else....need to knw that...and aftr ur good work ex its nt like tiss is gonna undermine or wash that off will it?...so in any case its definitely adding value...also tiss is one of the best institutes in the country for hr along with XLRI...i mean if u were getting good jobs with ur present acad status, tiss can ofcourse only make that better.....so ur only concern shud b is it hr ur looking at or nt....and once u figure that out things will get sorted out...good luck!hope my ramblings were of some help!
