Hey guys
have recvd admit card.... delhi geeta colony....for people who dont know....its near Laxmi Nagar, can come from ITO side if south or west, and if anyone has access to metro come till Welcome station and any rickshaw will take u there for 15-20 bucks....

Hi my name is rohit kothari and I got my tiss admit card today.my centre is delhi and I am form jaipur.the address is st lowerence convent school,geeta colony,facility center.can anyone tell me how far is it form vasnat kunj,since a relative of mine lives in dlehi.also I want to know how r u guys preparing for business awareness.

Has anyone in Pune received the Admit card yet? I thought Pune was very close to Bombay... should have received the admit cards before guys from Chennai and Delhi! ??:

u must be surprised as this is my first post and i m already a student of PGPIB at K.J.Somaiya...but have been in touch with this thead since it started...well anywayz....
all those who are worried can check the admit cards on the TISS website in admissions2006 corner,its already there..and yes the gud news is that my friend finds a place...apart from it there are 3608 students who have been shortlisted so i guess they have rejected some of the applications..but newayz..the gud thing is to carry on forward from here....

i appeared last year for tiss...d procedure hs changed helluva lot...last year if ur app. was selected then u hd to appear for an essay writing...2 topics...u hd to choose 1...as far as i remeber we wer given a sheet(a4) n we hd to writ bk2bk...approx 1000 words..i guess..it was abt general awareness abt the problems v r facing...any sector...hr prob...u jus need common sense to writ such essays...no gr8 prep reqd...then was gd...again 2 topics u hd 2 decide 1...voting was nt considered gud 4 choosing d topic...they expected d grp 2 reach a consensus in few minutes...it was upto d grp mem wen 2 start d discussion...normallyevry1 took 2mins to jot down d points...u hv 2 stay calm while putting 4ward ur poiints...b a gud listener...any chaos...n d whole gp is chucked...so b careful...ull get time before d gd to meet ur gp members...get 2 know each other...n explain them d imp of being calm...coz d gd is for 20-25 mins n evry 1 gets a chance....next day is pi(if u r selected)...pi is abt labour leaders...karat n bull shit...n other regulars lik describe ur self..y tisss...y pm&ir....blah blah...i dopn know wat they look 4...coz i hv seen gr8 brains...nt be3n selected..n i wasnt impressed by tiss students...coz they wer nt upto minimal expectations wen they gv presentation abt ther institute...but we'll change tht...lols...

tis time arnd thers a written test...it wud b similar to d tests lik snap.nmims...same std...nt lik cat n xat tis..year..so jus brush up ur basics...its 90 mins max yr attempts...don know if ther is -ve marking...get 50% n ull b headed 4 d next stage....so guys...relax....n those who hv ther written in delhi...do mail me ther nos(pesonal post)...we can get in touch..best of luck guys....

Heyy Thanks..I am in there for the entrance test, but am amazed at their move yaar...No college does this kind of screening at the entrance test level only. That is so so strange..And since I am in there, I think the comp. is going to be healthy and that I better get serious tomorrow on now...High time..

Guys

have checked my name on the website . Everyone in Delhi has the same centre (Geeta Colony). Isnt this near Krishna Nagar /Kakardooma Law Courts (Shahdara)

I havent received my admit card . Should i wait till Friday before calling them up ?

BTW the ratio of candidates appearing for the exam : seats available is 1:116 . The number of sets available for candidates in the General category being 31 .

just checked the site... my name is there!

but havnt rcvd admit card..on phone I was told that i can verify on site & then come 4 exam with any ID for verification... but what about the time..I didnt find the TIME of the exam ..someone enlighten please

Also can any1 else also call up & confirm this walk-in with any ID thing....

Oh & going by website...2933 candidates....
