First things first....

Kudos to all who made to thru to the final list....Congratulations.......
No more words....We wud meet u in person on June 26th


Rest of the ppl, who just couldnt find thier names in the list..there is nothing to be upset abt..Truly......u have given ur best shot and u have enjoyed the process..There is nothing more that you can do......Had there been any deficiency in ur approach than there is a matter of concern.....Truly, getting into TISS is not the end of all...Life is beyond that.....

It has indeed been a gud xpereince giving our little inputs from our end to the prospective ones....

For sure...we turning out as "HR" professionals..are for ppl........so at anypoint in time...u have any questions regarding how to go forward/career choice/what next.....Feel free to contact us....We wud be more than happy to help you in the best way we can with the limited knowledge we have.

With rgds to the query on second list/waiting list...Its never disclosed....Last time 2 ppl dint submit proper documents, so 2 names came up after the joining date ...The rationale behind the name etc is confidential...No one has clues abt it.....Though this happened for our batch, this did not happen to our seniors...So dont xpect on these lines....Of course if u get a telegram, ur the most luckiest person....But frankly chances r dim......Dont bank on it and keep pondering on it...Plan for ur next course of action.

Had a telecon with Prof. Kamat a few minutes back to enquire who all made it from his class to TISS. He said that 4 of his students have got TISS admits.

...i'd like to know who the 41st chick in the list is...n y she doesn't have a form no. next to her name...i thought the backdoor - cash crap only happened is places like sibm...

TISS entrance procedure is extremely fair as compared to many of the "reputed" management institutions in India. I applied for TISS , so did you ...

We both didnt make it , so what ? Maybe it just wasnt our day. Maybe our cummulative scores didnt add up . Its no reflection on your merit or mine unless there really was a lacuna on our part .

If there was and we are appearing for the entrance exams this november onward we should work to rectify the same.

If we have taken admission elsewhere , we should still work on it in our own interest.

I have visited many management institutes for the GD/PI , including many highly reputed ones. Let me say , I havent seen the humility , the modesty which comes to the TISS students naturally often elsewhere . Generally , there is attitude , loads of it on public display.

I stayed on the TISS campus , and the TISS students whether they were from PM&IR or MSW all went out of their way to help us aspirants.

Bottomline:-Rather than indulging in mud slinging , we ( the aspirants who didnt get through ) should indulge in self introspection and effect a course correction if required .
