arrived here yesterday ..... got accomodation . TISS students are very helpful. Just went to the academic section and got the Personal Details form .
Quite a few people have arrived , most of the people i met are from Delhi .
will try and post after the GD/PI process if there is time left and the computer is available here .
I have a return flight to Delhi tomorrow at 8 PM , and i am hoping the GD/PI process is completed before that .

I think the no objection certificate from work place is required at the time of admission/ verification of original documents and not at the time of gd/pi. Am I right? Anyone plz throw some light on this.

tiss is 45 mins from mumbai airport. please do not pay more than 110 rs for the auto fare . if u want to use txi use the prepaid counter at mumbai airport.
acco both for guys nd girls is available.just go to the hostel attendant.
internet facilities are available.
tiss is on sion trombay road , just after chembur . a lot of buses go this way . u can reach tiss by bus as well, its on the main road.
gd was ok. do NOT be aggressive , focus is on social topics.
mine was 24/7 schedules : work life balance .
we hopwever chose "globalisation is destroying indian social values and cultural ethos "\\
u can chose one topic out of two .
the decision on the topic is by majority of the group members.
interview was average . questions about area of study , industry , management education in india . Do NOT Bluff , the panel members are very experienced and very quick on the uptake.

carry one attested photograph alongwith you . photocopies of all certificates , and originals as well. NOC from employer is not being asked at this stage .
Pgites from TISS were of great assistance during the selection process . In particular i would like to thank Arun S Kaimal who was there co-ordinating our GD/ PI.

me personally did not apply , cause last time around though had a great interview was not selected finally ... actually was the last person to be interviewed !!
anyway atb to all of u ..
dont try to shout in a gd and just be cool , calm and composed .. and stick to the point in the essay .. rest is pretty easy !!
no tips about interviews cause did not get selected!! but still lots of questions on labour laws , socially relevant situations like dams, displacement , etc were common last time around (on my day)
just chill !!!
