I have been on the forum for a while now. Please put this thread at the right place if i am writing at the wrong place.for the last few days we see alot of 1 year MBA annonucements programmes. The list as far as i know are

1. ISB
2. Glakes
3.Xavier jamshedpur
4. IIM A
5 SPjain Dubai
6. IMI Delhi

Please add if somebody has more .From this add i would request people to give thier comments where one can make adecision some sort of rankings for these, placements etc,.people who are alrdy taking these programmes shd give in their comments so that people like me are benefitted.IMI says they were the first to start a one year so how is the industry perception ,faculty, placement etc.Any info abt this 1 yr MBA is most welcome .anything abt the 1 year stuff. am frm IT industry and as everybody is aware the industry is in agr8n position. My slary has almost doubled in the last 1 year.Is this the right time to leave and go for an MBA or shd one make the most of opportunity now and then may be when the things settle down calm down then go for this mba.May be i have raised alot of questions but anybody giving any info that is worthwhile

Add one more in the list

AEGIS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, MUMBAI

It is probably most global one year programme offered in INDIA.

Sorry for the delay, I saw your post just now . PGPIM@IMI is meant for working professionals like you only. The course was started more than 20 years back, so it has a good standing in the Industry. About the faculty, Faculty is IMI's strength - I can safely say that our faculty is among the best in India. IMI has been able to attract and retain the best faculty members in India since the salaries here are 35% more than even the IIMs. Placement assistance was not provided to the PGPIM guys (for obvious reasons), but it will be provided this year onwards. Going for MBA or not is completely your personal decision, I just wanted to answer your queries regarding the PGPIM programme at IMI. In case you have any other queries related to the same, please feel free to contact us.

I hope it helps.

All the Best!

Hi. There is no cutoff marks for GMAT at Great Lakes. Though, there are students with scores 650, 680 etc.. Again, the admission is also based on your recommendation letters, Application essays and interview.. The admission process is very similar to that followed in US B-schools with enough weightage for recos, application essays etc.. And yeah.. scores *may be* weighted less (not necessarily always ) compared to essays and recos, if you come with good industry experience and is able to project them.. More details are available at the Great Lakes website. !!

subbu.. eagerly waiting for the article on Great Lakes.. !!!

Regs,
Trail Blazer.
