Hi Simba I'm Ishu and i'm applying for Master in finance and control program of du south campus which is exclusively a specialised program , i have written a rough draft for the sop required and request u all to rectify my mistakes:
I did my Btech in EEE from Vellore Institute of Technology, which was a natural choice for me as I was always very much inclined towards science and technology. It was a great learning experience and engrained in me nuances of problem solving and has broadened my mental horizon.
After doing my Btech I joined a software solutions provider company and was trained in Mainframe technology and soon I developed a good understanding due to my inbuilt ability to learn and, drive to improve myself. My 16 months of working experience has taught me many things. Apart from improving my soft skills and technical knowledge I realized that it’s not alone the technical competency of the employees that contributes to the success of a company or firm. The power and responsibilities associated with the management of affairs and the ability to make responsible use of this power is the foundation on which the company rises.
My long term aim is to become a successful entrepreneur, for which I should prepare myself. The recent economic turmoil has left everyone in awe. It hasn’t spared any one; anywhere, whether it is the common man or an industrialist and has caused large scale erosion of assets. In the light of these events it becomes all the more necessary for me have a clear understanding of the concepts of the financial affairs of any organization. Masters in Finance and Control from esteemed Delhi University with its highly qualified faculty and enviable placement record will equip me with essential skill sets and provide me the platform to have a first hand experience of participating in economic affairs of a successful organization.
I donno if it qualifies to be an sop and thus need yr ideas and comments
