When I joined this institute just one batch had passed out and one more batch was about to passs out in 2008. So at this point of time we can say there are just 2 batches out in industry from SIOM. But the fact that SIOM is being compared with other 20-30 years old institutes shows what kind of exponential pace its growing and how other institutes are seeing it as a major competetior. One more point, which is a big USP is the choice of student admitted into SIOM, as they are all engineers, it obviously will be overlooked by ppl from other streams. But believe me if you look at the course cirruculum and show it to any expert in the industry right now, the kind of reponse you will get from the industry insiders will just force you to join this institute blindly ;-)

Regarding ur query... See I am not sure as to what perception you have or have heard about SIOM. If you can give out your area of concern than we can discuss that matter further in detail. Anyways, talking in general, if you comparing SIOM with SIBM or SCMHRD then first and most major point which I will ask you to look at will be the year of inception of these flagship Symbi colleges with SIOM... I am SIOM aspirant.
I strongly feel like joining SIOM but i am puzzled as to why isn't the market pereception of SIOM at par with other SYMBI institutes?
The salary is not the put off coz in the end the education counts.
I would like to know your views of SIOM. Thanks a lot
