I needed some advice from you if you don't mind. I am an MBA from IIM C (Batch of 2008. I have done my Engg in Electronics and Telecom and have 21 months of experience in IT. I have been working as a Senior Business Analyst for the last 10 months in an IT company. I want to take up a career in Academics. As a first step I want to do a PhD from a good US university. But I simply don't know where to begin my search or how to go about it. Could you please help me?

Saw an old post of yours... just wanted to ask u a few things if u dont mind.
I have abt a month and a half to give the GMAT and my biggest problem is time and focus as I have done a bit of studying already and do not find it that difficult. I looked at all the coaching centres and it is really expensive and I really dont have the time or money to splurge on this... could you help me ? and could I have your contact number??
