I have got the final offer for NITIE PGITM program.Was wait listed 4 earlier.
I am in a catch22 situation about joining the course or not.
Presently I am working in IOCL as a systems officer and earning a handsome package os around (8.8 L) after the salary revision.Though the in hand salary is not very impressive but yes there are lots of perks and facilities included.Also the job is very stable.But considering the negatives the job is not of that challenging and the quality of work in general is not so great.Just 3% hike annually and any signifact hike only after some pay comission.Though I liked to pursue an MBA in either marketing or systems but I thought that I shld choose it once I spend some time in a b school.But in NITIE it wont be possible because things will be very specific from the first year itself.
Please suggest me whether should I join the program.I am really confused a big time.Also what kind of profiles does NITIE PGITM grads get after thier MBA.
