hi dude....really sorry fr the really really late reply...jus now saw ur post...reg wipro ethics thing - wat wipro did at tat point of time (yr 2000), i.e giving shares preferentially to its customers (like world bank) - was and is approved by the US governin body the Securities & Exchange Council. its a promotional activity which is used commonly, called the directed share program. world bank has revised its policy recently sayin this is against its code of bizness, which is fine, but its wrong in banning wipro so many yrs after it hapnd...also the world bank staff knew exactly wat they were doin and even signed a 'no conflict of interest' bond with wipro, essentially making it right legally and ethically. i said wipro has a strong emphasis on values etc....which is true to my knwledge of the company!! hope this helps!
