hi sarvesh. m not into cat thing anymore.more experinced puys wud guide u better.84 is good to begin with.
study material: every institute has similar material. CL' s matreial is generally said 2 b good. do NOT refer to books.IMS study material is good enough, follow it, just be regular. keep clearing doubts.coaching hepls. but self study must be done.
WORK EXPERIENCE: some gud institutes (in dat order)dat give weightage to work ex:
1.S.P.Jain, mumbai (cut off 85 %ile, check their site , how many years of work exp they want)
2. Great Lakes, Chennai/ noida (they ask 4 letter of recommendation frm employer etc- deadline generally in january)
3. Narsee monjee, mumbai (separate exam, NMAT)- but frm last few years they've reduced d weightage i think , ask someone
4.welingkar, mumbai-cut off is 80's plus %ile- charge 11 lacs 4 thier BM course, other courses 5 lacs
5. lal bahadur shastri (LBS), delhi, cut off arnd 87 %ile, packages gud enuf,bad infrastucture

Hi frnd....h r u ..yaar i m new to pagaguy also a new aspirant for CAt & other Bschool exms....plz tell me abt the benefits i can gain bcoz of being an experience candidate with 2+ work ex+btech degree ...actually earlier while i ws in collg i got 84 percentile in cat but i was not interested also rank was not that gud....also suggest me books ...at present i refer IMS material..
