my intentions are not to fuel a north india vs maha fight i jus want to clear my doubts. thanks in advance

Hi Mr Sumit

Other states MP(MPCET) , Gujarat ( GCET ) dont have reservation for outside state sudents while Maharashtra does have 15%.I dont think there is any other state giving reservation to outside students .Maharashtra is the only state which is doing that right now . People like you still criticize that !!!! It is problem of other states that they havent kept their state level cet colleges up to good level...
Also apart from Jbims and sydenham every other college has PGDM course ..in which they give admissions through CAT-"provides equal opportunity to everyone ".
Kj somaiya is a minority college .In Kj through CET for MMS only 50% Maharashtra Students are taken . 50% reserved for GUJARATI people.Same rule applies for PGDM through CAT also .Olease check your basics completely by going on website of college before posting comments .
Please dont talk about "Marathi Manus" here.We dont have any problem if other state student come to study in Maharashtra. When it comes to state level exam we are equally compititive
Anyways it is a viable option for you or everyone. You will have to score 160/200. Believe me it is not easy .In 150 miniutes scoring that many marks takes all your energy .You need to practice hard .I guess you are not from Maharashtra so you will not have acces to coaching classes for Mah-cet .I will suggest you to buy RS Agarwal books and Chandresh Agarwal book for cet.beside this career forum is the only institute which is offering correspondence course for CET.you can check this on their site .
No hard feelings .....
Just remember -If you have it in you no one can stop you !!!! and dont worry go for it !!
Thanks and Regards
