here i am starting a new thread that will help u in tracking deadline for admissions in various b. schools of pune, and mumbai...here i appeal to all of guys who are now pursuing their mba/mms/pgdm/pgdbm from pune and mumbai colleges to actively involve in sharing the info ab their colleges..i hope it will help u in effectively applying for various colleges in these regions and u will not miss achance just bcz vague information or confusions ab deadlines..

well i wud like to say abt few of the coll.

LAST DATE TO SUBMIT UR FORMS(FOR PGDM):

ies (mum) and indira -20th april
nl dalmia- 30th april
met(mum)-11th may
i have 86.5 % in xat and 106 marks in mh cet .want to join 1 of the above mentioned coll.but i am really confused as to which coll. is good .plz rank the coll. n suggest whcich coll. are worth applying to .

hii buddy..as u are opting for ohu (outside home univ..) it is difficult to get admission through marks u have obtained bcz last year cut off for cap 2 round is as assuming u will get 30marks in gd/pi

n.l dalmiya....146 ies...151 of courrse ia m assuming that u r ohu student and belongs to open category..anyway i would only suggest u that give priority according to ies>n.l dalmiya> met>indira...and thanks for apprising us to deadlines for above colleges.. i hope u will certanily make us aware of deadline for admissions to other colleges as well..

it is great to see ur enthusiasm for posting the new info.ab deadlines...now ab ur query
indira...of course u can apply for pgdm here. u will not have to appear for all the section of written exam. conducted by isbs on 9th may.

k.j somaiya(retail mgmt.) k.j somaiya is conducting its own entrance exam. for admission to this course ..dates has not been announced till now..this course is aicte approved..
n.l dalmiya..pgdbm(Aicte approved) they do not have any min. cut off for xator any other entrance exams while submission of forms intially..
they select students on ths basis of following criteria
cat/xat/mat/atma......20 marks
gd..........................20 marks
pi............................35 marks
past academic performance...15 marks
extra curricular....................05 marks
work ex..............................05 marks
total..................................100 marks
for batch of 2005 -2007.......cut off was 61...ab rest of colleges i have no good idea....

hey thanx abhay. can u elaborate on the marwari quota in dalmia. as im a marwari want to knw abt it. i m really confused wether to aplly forindira as d fees is on higher side (5 lacs). so wat u suggest. im thinkin of applyin fo dalmia,chetna, met(cwt-pgdm e bizz).

i dont know ab marwari quota seats in dalmia, s better i will not guess it right now..but i will try to get info ab it throug some of my friends who are doing their mba in mmbai...anyway what i know fo sure is this...
n.l dalmiya is best for finance
chetna has a graet track record for providing awesome placement for marketing guys and also faculty for same are highly qualified ..
