No comparison I will do here.. but keep in mind there are many other more important things than salary in a B school placement. (Average salary anyways has always been good at JBIMS) Please check your facts about profiles offered at various institutes you are mentioning.
About the course, please enlighten us about those 'many'. Being a university department, it comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. The syllabus may not be changing at a fast pace like other private institutes. But most important thing is, professors here are so close to happenings in the industry, things you can learn before others accommodate in their syllabus.

Thanks for the information. But such horses will be found in all the top B schools in the world.. not only india. There are people who come just for placements.. now world will look yellow wearing yellow glasses... isnt it?

Hello, now everybody is calculating his/her own average then why wait and ask for placement report. Once again, cant stop anybody from speaking, but its upto you to take decision, whom to trust.

And yes, this is there are many TOP institutes in india who have not yet finished their placements even after convocation. So if you look from that perspective, even 7-8 L (I am not saying its true) is a very good salary.
