Devi Ahilya University, Indore conducts a COMMON ENTERANCE TEST for admission in allied courses in some of its colleges. This exam offers admissions in both post- graduate and integrated programs.

The colleges which participate in this exam are:

Institute of Management Studies (IMS)
International Institute of Professinal Studies (IIPS)
Educational Muitimedia Research Centre (EMRC)
School of Economics (SOE)

Integrated programs are offered by IMS and IIPS. IMS offers MBA E-Commerce and Hospital Administration and IIPS offers MBA Management Science. The students finishing their high school can appear in this exam. Such students are placed in a different group and their examination scheme is different.

Post graduate programs include following courses:

Courses offered by IMS in CET:
MBA- Financial Administration
MBA- Marketing Management
MBA- E-commerce
MBA- Disaster Management
MBA- Hospital Administration

Courses offered by IIPS in CET:
MBA- Advertisement and Public Relations
MBA- Tourism

Courses offered By EMRC:
MBA- Media Management

Courses offered by SOE in CET:
MBA- Business Economics
MBA- International Business
MBA-Financial Services

It is expected that forms for CET-2009 will be out by April and exam will be held in last week of May. In year 2008, CET was held on May 30th.

To apply, aspirants can download forms online from www.dauniv.ac.in or can directly purchase forms from DAVV office, RNT marg.

After the test is conducted, the result is usually declared within 30 days and then counselling is scheduled and students are given course choices as per their merit ranking.

50% of seats are reserved for MP domicile candidates. Also there is reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates, female candidates and Handicapped students.

Hello Puys,

I forgot to mention SCHOOL OF COMMERCE which also participates in this test. SOC offers 5 years intergrated course in foreign trade namely MBA- foreign trade and 2 years MBA- foreign trade as post graduate program.

First of all, its is not MP CET, it is MP MET 2009. And if you wish to apply for DAVV CET 2009, you can get all the information at www.dauniv.ac.in or you can get updates here.

Mates, this thread is almost running dead, plz show some activeness & also if possible, provide the aspirants with some mock papers of DAVV CET.Just talking the thing which one can easily get from the DAVV site is not enough, so help regarding the entrance test.
