Hello Arjun,

Look buddy all the All India Entrance Examinations which include CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/JMET scores are accepted in CET. Your percentile in these exams are eventually converted as it is into CET percentile. Since the whole process is centralized by DTE(Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra, none of the colleges can take direct admissions on any entrance test scores. Everyone has to fill CET forms whether you apply it through All India Exams menthioned above or CET Maharashtra or both.

The whole process of CET is centralized. First you will appear for Written exam(this time 15th Feb), then you will have to appear for GD/PI(Tentatively in May). After that you will get a merit No.. Based on your preference and merit no. you will be alloted a college(in July).

Its good that you are looking forward to taking admission in SIMSREE; and why not, it is the second best college through CET-Maharashtra. SIMSREE is 25 year old institution and it has some of the best known corporates as its alumni.

Since you are an OMS student, to get into a good college like Sydenham you need to score at least 99.90 percentile.
If you want to get into top 5 to 6 colleges in CET, then you must score at lerast 99 percentile.
