Hey sandeep.
In answer to your ques about life at SIMSREE i would say that i am enjoying it very much. The students and faculty are good. You will have an environment that is full of enjoyment and studies..Both go hand in hand..
About batch profile- around 60-65 are engineers(an approx guess), rests r commerce students,B.Sc, Hotel Management, etc etc..
many students have work ex..I am talking bout the 08-10 batch..
Regarding placements- No comments from my side..
wait till a Placement committee person answers ur query..They can tell u accurately

Welcome to Sydenham Institute of Management Studies (SIMSREE) Thread!!! Thanks Rucha for starting this thread. Placement scenario at SIMSREE as always is Rocking !!! For last years figures and detailed placement Report please access the link SIMSREE . Amongst the list of colleges through CET , we are second only to JB as far as placements are concerned.The Executive(final) placement week for 2009 batch will be conducted in month of Jan . While for Summer Internship we have a rolling process. I am sure this year too we will better our last year's placement record comfortably . Of course due to global economic slowdown , the job market is affected throught MBA colleges in India , but due to our brand reputation build over last 25 years and with a strong alumni base , placement scenario this year as well as in coming years @ Sydenham ,be rest assured is very positive.

ankit told u quite a bit abt life@syd would like to add a few other points.

Life is hectic..but i guess u need to accept it once ur in a bschool!!

College is usually from 8 to 8..but inspite of that we still sometimes squeeze in time to go for a movie..

Im the CR..so my friends keep asking me for a free lecture..but in vain..again the reason being we have to make the most of it in the 2 years time

Students have come from different places..right from Kashmir to Coimbatore..amazing personalities to be with.

We must say we are njoying every moment we have been here..

hello arjun,

Sydenham and JB follow the same procedure.Rather all the colleges which come under CET follow the same procedure.

Reg Admission process:

After u write ur CET,then u need to have ur GD/PI.
Then final ranks will be displayed.
After that allotment of seats(CAP rounds) starts.

GD/PI is held in May.Allotment is in July.

Last year for us college started on the 28th of July.
