Mission MH-CET 2009 -

Hello puys, 
I would like to start this thread for all toughs folks who are gearing up for MH-CET 2009.
So I invite all of you to share Ideas, Views, Advices,study plans,experiences regarding MH-CET.Also we can form a study circle.
As you know the CET is conducted in the month of FEB every year. There are 6 months left for the exam. And this 6 month period is quite sufficient for preparations.
Here are basics of CET and syllabus---------
Total Duration of the exam (minutes) - 150 minutes
Total number of questions - 200
Total Marks - 200
Marks per question - 1
Negative marking - no
Mode of marking the ovals - Black Ball Point Pen
GDPI and PAR - 40
[34 Marks For Gd & Pi Remaining 6 marks For Acads(4MARKS) And W.exp.(2MARKS)]
Total marks - 240
Overall this is all about reasoning. 60% questions are of reasoning. So one needs to prepare on that front very well.
Reasoning- It Is That Part Of The Paper Which Can Be Studied Only Through Self Studing . It Has Syllogism,logic, Coding Decoding, Arguments Etc.
Visual Reasoning- This Was Very Difficult In This Years Cet-08 Which Has Always Came For Atleast 30marks every Year.students Relied Lot On This As It Was Easy In Cet -06 And Made Disaster Cet -07 onwards.
others- We Have DI(Data Interpretation), QA (20-25 Marks) And English
And for GDPI update yourself with current affairs as well as try to express what you feel in efficient way.

Could you please tell whether the MH-CET is also conducted in cities lying outside of Maharashtra or not. If yes, could you please list a few centers in North India.

Hi...ya CET is being conducted in various cities...in North there is a centre at Delhi..other cities include hyderabad, etc

Hi
CET is conducted in other cities also. So don't worry. I will give you all the centers other than state of Maharashtra.
Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmadabad, Bhopal, Indore, Jaipur, Raipur, Guwahati, Kolkatta, Bhuvaneswar, Chennai and Banglore.

Thanks to you and to puneet_sweet also for giving me another option to consider for MBA. I simply love Maharashtra don't know why. I have met many people and families from Maharashtra and had very good experiences with them. Specially, these days we are busy with Ganpati Puja with them. 
I am interested to join University of Pune.

I believe for Reasoning R.S.Agarwal + Coaching Institute material would be good. Rest it would be similar to the other exams that we are giving except the speed part.
What do you think? Am i right?

thank you for mentioning the centres. is there any centre in kerala?
also tell us what colleges come under MH-CET or what colleges in maharashtra dont come under this exam. what is the standard of the test paper. is it like MAT exam?
