Guys,

You might break the paper up this wayo the non visual part first.If you out and out crack it,you're there in the 99.3+ bracket already.

Now if you manage to crack visuals as well in,let's say,40 minutes or so, you will get a 99.8+ for sure.Now the reason why getting 99.8+ is a bit of a challenge is:

1.People haven't developed speed and accuracy for the non visual part,which by the way,is just an easier version of similar questions of most entrance tests.

2.People aren't able to crack visual thoroughly.See,cracking 12/20 vs18/20 is what makes that critical 6 mark difference that may make or break your chance for the top schools.

So just prepare your speed based questions(maybe do sectional tests etc.) and at the same time strengthen your visuals.(It shouldn't be that sitting in the exam hall, you're whacking your brains out on those 4-5 questions of VR that JUUUUSSSTTTT seem to be solvable but you miss some link somehow because of lack of practice).

Thanx for the info........... ..really appreciate..... i haven't seriously started practising.. cos i'm caught up with my units right now...frm 13th.. the PS makes me go a little slow.. sometimes......LR and RC is where i find myself scoring better as of now.. i read alot .. my reading speed is good.... so that makes it a plus point for me with RC...

Devoting long hrs is not necessary, just spend around 1-2 hrs daily...and a bit more on off days..also remember dat u need 2 get sumwher above 98.5 %ile (if ur in open categry) 2 get into a good col like somaiya,welingkar etc.

And the tuf part is gettin above 98.5 coz nething below dat is easy 2 get, i remember last yr i managed 2 get 98 %ile after studying for just a week, but wid dat i only got dalmiya col which i didnt want 2 take.

I an writing this for i have a question about my Domicile.I have nothing to do with Bombay and have been to Bombay just once or twice.But the thing is that my Dad got transferred to Bombay a year back.I am doing my graduation from a College outside Maharashtra. My Dad works for the Central Gov. (Ministry of Finance),so i would like to know if i can have a domicile of Maharashtra as my Dad works there.
And lastly what is the % of seats for Students for Maharashtra and that of students from other States?

hey Punit,
the idea of forming a group sounds good. i m home all day. preparing for CET
lemme know when u plan to discuss and solve papers or anything related to CET. thanx.

wanted to know if MHCET scores are considered for sp jain & narsee monjee??or do u havto write NMAT ONLY for nm.....???and for how long are MHCET scores valid?? !n for students of OMS CATEGORY wt percentile is required for jbms...[by oms i mean km..(kashmiri migrants)THX in advance!

Hi cet scores r not considered for sp jain n nm...v have to write nmat for nm....cet scores vaild only for a yr....for jbims der r 15 or 18 seats for oms...so accordingly u shuld b in top 15 to get into it....i think percentile requirement it wont b less thn 99.8
