yes...i have lost a mark :crazyeye:...and guess m down to 7th or 8th on the list with my written score of 150....can any of u guys throw light on whether I can make it ??? ... my provisional state rank is 26 and univ rank is 1...
pls send in inputs...esp the very active members a la Mr.Adroit..

if u look at the list posted on PG for the mumbai univ. students, a person with score of 187 has rank 18...so tht ways...nd assuming tht cutoff for us wont be more thn 187 in ne case..people wid state rank of 18+9(9 is the seats for us)...=27 should be safely thru..

Sam.. I think you are thru!
I have seen a guy with state rank 31 and Mumbai univ rank 24.
This means there are 7 Non Mumbai students till rank 31.
With rank 26 you should be thru! Congrats!

hey guys..need some help

Last year KJ Somaiya closed @State rank 474 and Welingkar @ State Rank 561 for the GOPENO category in the First list.


however after talking 2 many people, i saw that usually the junta differs on which is better .KJ or Welingkar ! so it MIGHT reverse (or not) this year.


so just wanted 2 know if i'll be able 2 make it to AT LEAST either one of these colleges @ my STATE RANK of of 448?
my Pune Univ rank is 35.my score is 165/240.

i think i have a fairly good chance @ Both colleges @ my rank.

Dude... let me tell you that state rank 50 is having Mumbai Univ rank 41. That means the 9 seats for general category will be filled by people having ranks less than 50.
So chance only if somebody from first 9 opts out. Also check somebody from mumbai univ having state rank close to urs to get better idea.

Bt closest , I have got is a person with 181 from Mum ... Let me know if you know any1 ..

For the State rankings , are ppl frm category with score of 179+ , included before me or they are put into a separate list ?

buddy... AFAIK the list is inclusive of the ppl from category. They just get one more rank which is their category rank. Please get it confirmed again.
