CET 2008 GD/PI Experinces

Hi,
I had my GD-PI on 31st (last date) in JBIMS..
Luckily we got very easy topic for GD
1) IPL - Will it ruin or help cause of cricket??? (we selected this)
2) Will co-operatives are relevent in globalisation scenario??

My PI was quite longer (about 14 min),as mine was different case.....
I am running a science coaching class for several years.....
So many questions were related to my business..
Overall it was good GD-PI.
Waiting 4 result.

yup..i know v have that period....but want 2 avoid that stage, as it would hardly help in case of work ex marks ...for grievances one has 2 go again at d ARC.....lets hope that d correct marks r displayed on 10th

i had my gdpi in PUMBA on 28th may 2007 at 11am.
first we were taken to a room and asked to fill the form in which we had to give our details and answer questions like why mba? will india become global power? significant events in india etc etc.
gd started around 11.20 am. we were given two topics- will the 1 lakh car affect the environment? or privatisation of IIM's
obiously we chose the first topic. the gd was pretty decent and not a fish market scene. everybody got a chance to speak and i gave 5-6 im point- will work for me. then one of the panelist asked us to sum up and i did the needful. gd lasted for abt 17-20 min

PI was a bit grilling but the interviewers didnt put pressure. they quizzed me a lot abt my academic background (im a law graduate) and then questions related to the form which i had filled. pi lasted for abt 15min.

well wud say it was a good gdpi experience for me.

Hi,

My GD/PI was on 23rd of May 08 in Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JDBIMS).

1. GD topic was Family owned Business V/s professionally managed business. I think I did well in spite of d fact that d GD had turned in 2 a fish market.


2. PI is where I think I screwed up (or got screwed instead) couple of old guy asking me d math sums orally & synonyms of d words picked 4m d dictionary (may b some of them don’t even exist). Having said that I think I did better than people before me hence expecting avg mark in it.

so final results r out. i think purpose of this thread is served..n already there r so many threads for discussion of final score. so i request MODERATORS to pls close this thread. so we dont hav 2 follow atleast this thread for updates when everybody is starting new thread for discussion.
