hello puys,

Please use this thread if you are aiming for kj somaiya gujju quota 2008 so that we can know where we stand in the whole group

Hi,

I am aiming for Somaiya's Gujju Quota. I glanced thru the site and saw the cut-off's for last couple of years for Gujju Linguistic minority. Could you let me know the approx cut off for the same this year...Also, I would like to know what is the procedure for applying in the Linguistic minority...

Any information given will be appreciated.

acc to patrick who is guiding students on this site......cut off could be around 159\240
i think we need to apply seperately by filling in the forms which will be availble shortly at kj....

My CET score is 92.76 percentile (110 on 200)...
so looking at wat ur saying, chances are very bleak for me to get thru the gujju quota as well..wats ur score?

mine is 128 with 98.28 percentile

Lets help each other keep in touch with the status of the Gujju quota at KJ..

Umm scored 122 out of 200 (97.03 percentile). Wat r my chances??

you will be requiring 37\40 assuming 159 as cut off

HI Vishal,

I got 122 in cet, as per my knowledge last year cut off was 144 out of 200 in gujju kota. Hence going by that do you think there would be a spike upto 159 out of 200, this looks highly unlikely to me

I think the cut offs should be somewhere around 150 -153

dont know brother.........patrick has said its 159 (u can check it in his thread)........
last year 99.99 was 145 this year it is around 160 .......so there is a hike of 15 marks......

my friend last year with 98.08 percentile(117 marks) was waitlisted in gujju quota....though he manage to get through later.......i have 128 this year with 98.22 percentile...........so u can see the difference

i assume percentiles are better indications for knowing cut off when you compare with last year rather than marks

i guess the cut-off shud hover around 155-162, which is really a spike considering last years cut offs.. but lets hope tht there wont many ppl ahead in the region of 97+ percentile wanting to take up thru gujju quota cuz this section depends on the number of gujju ppl ahead of us as well right??

And for this quota admission is there any seprate form to be filled up or any other process to b followed??
