CET 2008 J&k Quota

hello everyone.....i hv written cet this year m my cet scor is 102(88.44)......however i hv applied thru mat also n my %ile is 96.02.....i m a J&K migrant hving J-1 categorywill my mat score be considered above cet.....n hw can i know about my merit no. in quota list....do reply

its a humble request to all kp-cet aspirants to post ur scores so that we cud help ourselves and get the proper info as where we stand (on merit basis)

Hi All,

As per the procedure...
we all have to appear for GD PI,( mandatory.. only then we shall be considered for CET.
2) After GD PI result
we will submit which ever score we have as our best ( cud be any cat/mat)
3) Then ranking will be taken out...

only then we shall coem to know of where do we stand...

Thsi procedure will end in June...

so before that to know our ranking in j&K.....
request u all to send yr scores...

those who will be applying MAT score also do mention yr score....
if u guys get 99.99 then most of us can start looking for alternative plans...

Also as a general rule..
if v all do not get a seat in j&K , then all open seats will be decided on merit basis...
also... j&K who have bought 2 CET forms are allowed in OMS category too..

I m in bit of a dilemma, as i said my score is just 84 and a percentile of 70.56.

Do u see me getting through any good colleges if not best around.

Any suggestions ?

with this score the chances are very minute...

1) PRay to god that there are few ppl in J*K and u get through... ( I am praying hard too )
Alternatively ,
All these colleges conduct a separate exam for their own collge...
u can try through taht means , as those exams are relatively easy to crack...

search the site n buy teh forms...
Dalmiya 's last date is not over yet... ck out for other colleges..

Hi Rishi,
CET allows you to submit yr best of the scores...
but what is teh conversion factor that they use, you will need info on that to judge...

thnkx....bt i m afraid becaz yet not many people hv posted their scoresi thnk it is unable to judge where each of us stand.moreover hv u ny idea wat s the conversion process like...wat is the cet eqivalent of 96.02%ile

Will trigger you another small question, which colleges do you think should i be looking forward to in this scenario with not much on scoreboard. Also which colleges do conduct separate exams, can share some college names. Would be interested know.
