Ummm... Sorry...May be this post is uncalled for... But I am amazed with your assertion about the faculty members of either B-school... I think to present a relative opinion, one needs to be a student of both the schools and I am afraid that none of us on this thread, atleast, are. What is the basis of your very first post on PG?

Re: MH-CET Results Declared(Batch of 2008-10) - 07-07-2008, 11:50 PM

hi
i had a kind of query
my cet score is 128[state rank-5327,pune university rank-833]
and all india score is 155[rank-951]
now this year there is a provision for maharashtra state candidate that they can apply to all india seats with their all india score and also they can apply for university seats and other university seats[i.e. maharashtra state candidate]through their cet scores.
now my query is that since i have to apply to all the 3 types of seats[all india, pune university and maharashtra state] are there 3 types of cap forms for round 1 or i have to submit only one and the dte will take the best of marks.
please put some light on this query of mine ,thank u

Hi there,

This query has already been answered, but here we go again. If by the time of admission you do not get your scorecard, then you can get your online scorecard printed and get it attested. When you do get your original, then you can submit it at your college.

The allocation would be based upon the options you fill in ur Option form.

Suppose you fill your option form in manner
JB
SYD
.
.
.
Then DTE will check that whether you can be allotted JB by any of the 3 ranks you have, if not then it will try for SYD and so on...

So fill in your option form with lots of considerations. If you are planning to wait till CAP round 2 then fill bogus top 5 options and then the ones which you are expecting to get into at these ranks.

Congrats for the great score
With 128 its hard to get into indira ...(if you are open) but chances do exist for cap 2(if obc)but sinhgad could be tried for cap 2.
Last year cut off for indira were130/121 for 1st/2nd round.(for OPEN) Merit may go high by atleat 10 marks this time. And about mumbai universities i dont know...
best of luck

Sonal
