hi can anybody please tell me the affiliations of this b school... is it as good as it claims to be....

pl suggest some pretty good schools i can apply to.... not good in competitive exams so which are the safe b schools i can apply to...

Hey guys I am from ISBR, and after going through all the posting about my college it seems ridiculous to see how an outsider may know anything about my college.I had not written any XAT/MAT but i had been through TIMES couching and i some how got the invitation with brochures but we wrote exams here to be eligible. This colleges is really good to do MBA, We regularly attend classes and lots of Extra add up programs like Black Belt Six Sigma, LCCI, Capstone(Only ISBR has it apart from IIM and XLRI) and we have lot many interactive Cell/Club nice to be part off and we have CSR club placement is student driven + It is been tied up to MA Foi Placement Consultant which is worlds 2nd biggest Consultant rather this time we even been through companies like Oberoi,Goldman Sachs and many more companies are yet listed to be coming for me to appear, If you step into our college website check out Movie gallery, Life @ ISBR to know my friends review. Some of my friends were not regular in college they suffered as they hardly attended classes/Cell Activities they had nothing to say while placements. Well I hope i gave enough information do post in for me give more info about my college.

I too got a call 2 days back from ISBR.I have scored 650 in MAT.What have u planned? did u go for enquiry.hey reply me quickly.i need to take decision. They said they are having interview all over India.Which place r u from? i am from chennai.

sorry for late reply.Hey even i too have not heard about the institute.But after looking into the various scraps i am bit concerned about it.But still i have registerd on 18th Dec for my P.I.
Wat abt u? what have u decided? are u looking for any other B Schools?Which ISBR campus r u looking for?

Its ok pal.I had done with my P.I on 10th Dec.The campus is amazing..........., i really liked the infrastructure.I also had a chance of discussing with the current batch students,they r too good and really helped me a lot.So , all the best for ur Interview.

Just post your queries on their website, and they call you within an hour...impressed!!!

I talked to one of their execs. and got to know the following:

1. They take 50%ile and above in MAT, but also consider other MBA entrance exams
2. All students, irrespective of their scores in such exams need to write an ISBR written test before the GDPI
3. The latest placement figures available say 85% placement for the batch with highest package 6.xx and average package 2.xx
4. Their course in UGC approved

hey friends i would like to suggest that i had visited the college and trully saying please dont waste your 2 years over this college.
The college is not even having good infra.
I dont know much about affiliation but i got feedback from their students that please dont get misled. So dont think of ISBR.
The top colleges in bangalore can be IIMB,SIMB,CHRIST,MS RAMAIYAH,ST.JOSEPH.
Rest are not that good and please dont even think of ISBR
