Dear Aspirants,
I urge you to make a note of this College and stay away - here is how they operate -
1) They are into the business of attracting candidates, who want to get MBA tag and knowledge, typically from tier-2 & 3 cities. Since these people do not have enough information or access, they get trapped.
2) Target is to trap candidates who are appearing or have scores through various assessment bodies in India - for seeking admission into a professional course
3) ISBR/IBMR gets the database of the people from the above category or directly through colleges
4) They use these databases to send "Very Attractive Brochures, VCDs, Admission Invitations" and lure them to take immediate admission notifying them of limited Seat Availability
5) The Fee is very high as they are into the business of making money from ignorant people like us
6) The attraction lever is two fold - a) that they have been selected on Merit, MAT Scores etc. and b) Ignorance of Parents & Aspirants of such Institutes
6) They have alliances to provide diploma/certificate, which may not help in getting a job. (As we know -> One can get a job purely based on merit and knowledge which has been gained). This may not be the right place as ISBR/IBMR have fancy buildings/campuses; they lack the right mix of Acamedicians, Facilitators, Infrastructure and Placements
7) This is the reason most of the GRADUATE(s) do not find any job. They showcase a tall list of Companies for placement. Some of them are true (One would get that kind of job anyways) - most of them are not. Please check their website - where they have initiated a "Focused Placement Portal". Remember, this is for students like us - and not for our placements. This is another gimmick to lure people for admissions
Best mode of information is to connect with students who have passed out - and are at loss. They do not have jobs and they have lost big amount of money based on these tall promises
9) Last point for caution - many positive responses are planted by the staff of ISBR - so be very careful
My observation has been collected and collated based on discussions with ISBR students and the sole purpose is to keep you well informed.
