For all MMS courses the admission is through CET. For PG courses .. JB does not have a PG course. For KJ Somaiya the admission is through CAT and their shortlist are already out. For welingkar you have to fill a seperate form which is currently available.

hi Sir,

In my TIME mocks i attempt aroud 200 questions but not getting more than 120 or so...

Of these 200, 150 are genuine attempts and rest are fluke.... my speed is good cuz i get time to go thru each question but seems my accuracy is not as good....

Any suggestions???

Hi, You have got decent scores and have a decent chance. Last year the cutoff for top 5 colleges was 15 marks less than cutoff for JB. JB cutoff was 166. 5th college the cutoff was 151 (out of 240).

I dont get it .. If you are getting time to go through all the questions then how come you have 50 flukes??
If you are solving only 150 genuine attempts .. it means your speed is low. So try build up your speed. Go faster where your accuracy is low, that should give you more time to solve more questions.

Well.. my question to u is regarding the Critical Reasoning part including assumptions inference type questions..hw do I improve my accuracy here..normally my accuracy in this type of questions is arnd 50-60 %

hw can i improve..?? especially the same statement with assumption,inference and conclusion to be found type of questions..I find them really confusing at times...! If u cud suggest any site or link of the study material for the same ...Plz help!!!

My suggestion would be not to think too much about it in the last moment. You will find different explanation for critical reasoning from different books and different faculties having different answer for each question.
A lot of good students have an accuracy of only 60% in critical reasoning. So it is good enough. Right now if you have already practiced enough .. just take a break and directly solve the CET paper on sunday. Thinking about improvement in weak areas in the last moment will not help much (especially if you already have had enough of paper practice)

being an OMS student wat shud b my minimum score in CET 2 get a cal frm top 5 colleges?

heres the cut off for 5th welingk... 169 & 6th pumba 169(oms)... delhi jus seems so far...

Last year the cutoff for the top 5 college for OMS student was 164. Which comes to around 134 in CET (assuming you will easily score 30/40 in GDPI + PAR).
This year the cutoffs could be lower as only 1 MAT exam is allowed for submission. But secondly the cutoffs last year was slightly on lower side as compared to year before that. So I would put it as anywhere between 125 to 150 would be the minimum score required for getting into top 5 colleges depending on the difficulty level of the paper.
