hi sir hows life going i am kalpesh frm mumbai doing job in jet airways . i am second time giving this CET . last year i got only 80 marks in CET . i am very depresses about it, but this time again i am tring for best. because of job n shift duties i dont have much practice about CET paper but i know the total framework of CET papaer sir i want good college in mumbai what can i do for u how to manage that ?? n sir what is the importance of getting good b school like sies simer n welingkar because nowdays everywhere all b school provides package of 3 to 3.5 PA mine package is currently 2.5 PA then what is use of getting this b school plz give me suggestion for that.what is ur suggestion about management sits n all i am not finanacial capable to taking mgt sits but what u think people nowdays more attract to this kinds of sits this really good investment for future sir because here every wants good b school by hook or by crook so sir plz give me suggestion for that i am waitng for reply bye tc

Wot can said bout my progress from the aforesaid graph....basically d weak areas whr i lose time n number both r FILL-UPS(due to closeness of options), SYN-ANT n CRTICAL REASONING(especially).....n i found tat they actually r time consuming...whr i cud hav done d ques wch i had to leave....bt i cant leave thm too na....as atleast n attempt can b made?? as these r less time consuming(d ones i get wrong) thn d ones wch i actually time consuming(d ones i cud do ryte bt hav to leave due to less time....like RC....though m gud at RC bt is time consuming)...wot to do ..?

Analyse your strong and weak areas based on the marks you get per minute. I believe Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks should not take morethan 15 to 20 secs per question. You should just read the question and optiona nd mark whatever comnes first to your mind. Dont think too much over the question. You may lose a lot of time.

If critical reasoning is weak .. leave it. Based on your attempts identify around 30 to 40 Qs that you are expected to leave in the exam and try and solve the remaining Questions.

Use of doing MBA: The advantage of doing MBA for a working professional is the growth he gets. Usually an undergrad's growth in an organisation is limited. Also initially the difference in salary may not be great, but the difference becomes large as time passes.
But that does not mean I recommend you to do an MBA from any college. You can try for PG seats in different colleges like SIES, Dalmia, MET, IES (whose forms I believe r out today), chetna, etc .. which I believe is worth getting into.

Sir, i havent solved much of the CET papers, but have been practicing CET based questions everyday from A book. i am in touch wid critical reasoning and analytical reasoning. i Have a good speed from my college days itself. Still i fall short of Confidence..... What should be a neat attempt? How many questions? Also does the CET vary wid Difficulty?

Hey People just need to ask that for colleges like JBIMS ,KJSOMAIYA and wellingkar we need to fill forms separately or only MHCET will do

sir ,
i am an ims student.gave cet 07 for time pass got 90/200(85 percentile).
simcet 1:95/200 ,97 percentile
2: 108/200 ,98.22 percentile, rank 55
3. 115/200 ,97.6 percentile ,rank 65
i took a time ka mock at home got 136/200.i know ims are very tough.so pls guide me what are my chances????am i on the right track or still miles to go..
what percentile is needed for top 5 colleges..pls help.

Hi Vrushali,
CET does vary with difficulty so putting a number on attempts or score would be difficult. The range of scores (minimum) in written test for getting into JB could be 130 to 150 depending on the difficulty level of the paper. My suggestion would be to solve a paper or two before you write the actual CET. That may help you to boost your confidence.

Cant put a minimum score in CET as it depends on the difficulty level of the paper. Percentile for OMS to get into top 5 colleges should be atleast 99.7%ile
