Hello.
I would simply like to have your personal opinion on this one. I do know that there is nothing much to differentiate between the MMS and PGDBM courses of the various B-schools as far as the placements are concerned since the process is common to both. However, how would you weigh the two courses based up on the curricula and practical value. The MMS course is of course affiliated to Mumbai University whereas the PGDBM course is totally the concern of the institute alone. With this in mind how useful or viable are the PGDBM courses offered by the institutes other than the Big 4.
A big thanks in advance.

Also i would like to know what one should do if there is complete chaos during the GD....i mean if everyone is shouting without listening, then shld one wait for the moderators to intervene or simply jump into the fray???? | Preparation for GD:
Firstly improve your content knowledge by reading newspaper regularly .. atleast the editorials. Apart from that start hearing the news for about 1/2 to 1 hour.
When there is chaos in the GD, one should try and calm the GD down instead of adding to the chaos.
I will be hoding a free session on GD and PI on 29th March in Dadar. Maybe once you attend that, things will be clearer. | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to Patrick D'souza For This Useful Post:

Also since there is atmost 1 seat per college, your admission would depend on how have others in the category have scored.

Anywasy, SIES results come before CET admission process starts. If you get admission out there, you could wait till CAP round 4 to take admission and thus take more risk in CAP rounds to get admission in better college.

A big thanks in advance. | In top 10 colleges such as Dalmia, SIES, MET, etc the PG course is of similar value in all respect as compared to MMS. In colleges below that I would prefer MMS course over PG course .. mainly due to the difference in quality of the students in the two courses.

You can also looka at options such as Welingkar, Dalmia, whose forms are out. It is always good to keep a backup option ... as you never know the level of competition for MMS seats.
